Wii Party
We have two birthdays to celebrate every year the week of Thanksgiving. This was a pivotal year for my two oldest turned 13 and 15. Two teenagers in the house, Yikes! They are great kids. Their grandparents gave them a Wii for their birthday so we hosted a impromptu Wii party. The kids had a great time. they played Wii, ate hot dogs n stuff and even took a Wii break for a game of freeze tag. I love the crazy noise of kids running amuck haveing fun. Tomorrow we kick-off our Christmas decorating,. Woohoo!

My dear friend and neighbor hosted a Thanksgiving craft party for our kids. They had a great time and we are blessed to have them in our lives. This was the kick-off to our holiday season and it set a great tone for lots of family fun and fellowship with friends. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday.

Mi Familia
Alfonso and Monica are highschool sweethearts. They will be celebrating their 2oth anniversary during their favorite season of the year, Christmas. They moved to St. Petersburg from Miami 8 years ago. Her family has been homeschooling for 11 years. They have 4 children and are graduating their first in 2012.
The Lord led them to homeschool for various reasons. The top reasons being to raise godly men and women for His glory and pleasure, to teach for mastery of skills and to each child’s individual learning style and strength’s, also to stay together as a family. She has a passion for sharing information that helps and encourages families on their homeschool journey. Alfonso leads the karate ministry, CKC-Calvary Karate Club , at their church Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg. Monica served for 4 years on the leadership board of the PPEA-Pinellas Parent Educators Association, the oldest and largest support group in Pinellas County. She has the honor of being one of FPEA-Florida Parent Educators Association’s new Ambassadors. The FPEA is one of the largest and most innovative state homeschool organiztions.
She enjoys sewing, blogging at the G-Force Academy, crafting, and making memories with her family and friends. Being passholders their family loves playing and learning at Disney every chance they get. They enjoy watching sci-fi and fantasy movie and TV shows, and musicals (ok mom likes these the best;).
We are very excited to share our family’s journey with you. Our greatest desire is to leave a legacy of faith in Jesus Christ to her children and their children and so on. She looks forward forward to serving her fellow homeschoolers.
